Fascinated with the Ogopogo, his mother remembers him working on a novel, called The Dweller, about the beast. Keith moved to Victoria to study theatre in 1982 and settled in Vancouver in 1986 where he became a respected and loved member of the film community. Over the 15-years of his career he took part in countless theatre, film and television productions. A founding member of Fend Players and co-producer of the Cold Reading Series, one of his screenplays was short-listed for the Praxis 2000 competition. In 1996 Keith won the Theatre BC Playwriting Competition for, The Exhumation of Ginger Cat. In 1997 he co-starred with Ed Asner in Basil . Keith’s life was cut short in June 2001 when, at the age of 40, he died from a head injury sustained after a cycling accident. |
