Since graduating with Honours from the University of Winnipeg’s Theatre Department some of Leanne’s selected theatre credits have been Origin of the Species (Three Sisters Theatre Company), The Paper Bag Princess and Long Johns and Silver (Prairie Theatre Exchange), Etienne (Theatre Projects) and The Crucible (Manitoba Theatre Centre).
Leanne is a founding member of 60 Cycle Hum Productions where she has created and toured the roles of Blayze Glory in Tumblin’ Dice, Manon in
The Assimilation of Eddie Mosiac
and Christy Lamb in the highly acclaimed one woman show Black & White Pictures.
Since arriving in Vancouver four years ago, Leanne has appeared in The L Word, Dead Like Me, some commercials, various short films including 60 cycle Hum’s Honestly Stan and Steam Powered Film’s The Vessel and she is now happy to have completed work on her first lead role in a Feature Film, The Beast of Bottomless Lake.
Married to screen writer Bob Hume, her proudest production to date is their amazing daughter Viola Vivian.
